AMCOL Systems Hires Ginger Rakes as Director of Insurance Recoveries

Columbia, SC – (March 14, 2018) – Ginger Rakes has been named the Director of Insurance Recoveries of AMCOL Systems, Inc., a nationally recognized leader in patient experience analytics and revenue cycle optimization.

Rakes brings over 25 years of healthcare revenue cycle experience to AMCOL and is well-versed in the successful execution of both hospital-based and outsourcing operations. Prior to joining the AMCOL team, Rakes held leadership positions with PARALLON, XTENSIA, Inc., and NCO Financial Systems, Inc., where she was responsible for managing the business process for  Early Out and Medicaid Eligibility, operational analysis, process design and implementation, and other roles integral to increasing cash collection and improving revenue cycle performance.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Furman University and Master’s Degrees in both Health Administration as well as Business Administration from Georgia State University.
